On June 25, 2015, the city of Boston and the entire nation was horrified by a grim discovery on the shore of Deer Island. Stuffed in a trash bag was the decaying body of a small girl believed to between 2-3 years old. This discovery launched a massive search for any answers. For months Baby Doe's face was plastered everywhere across New England in hopes of finding out who she was. It wasn't until a concerned neighbor came forward that the nation learned her name.
