I’ll be honest I have a hard time with people thinking that yoga is only for flexible, fit people. Yoga means to unite, to yoke, to bring things together as one. Asana defined is a steady, comfortable pose while you maintain continuity of breath. So why do we make such a huge deal about the poses? Why does it take a lean body, flipping around in poses, to get our attention? Why isn’t talking about Pratayahara sexy?
