The Parable of the Sower is often read as a challenge to examine the condition of our hearts—but what if it also calls us to examine our obedience? It's good for us to consider not only the soil but also the farmer who faithfully scatters seed. We reflect on what keeps us from sowing the gospel, and how Christ calls His people to return to faithful, generous seed-sowing.
