Many people commonly associate the book of Daniel with the story about the Lion’s Den. However, there is so much more in this book – practical, important help for doing life in a God honouring way that is relevant to us in 2023. Daniel knew what it meant to be resolute in his loyalty to God, even though he lived in a setting where doing so risked his own life. He had to consistently make strong, deliberate decisions that meant he stayed true to the God that mattered so much to him. Every day we are faced with choices, and often times choosing what is easy or convenient doesn't align with actions that demonstrate loyalty to God. In this message Ross kicks off our Resolve sermon series by using the story of Daniel to remind us of what is at stake and why resolving to be firm in our decision to follow God can have such an impact on us and our future.
