In times like these it’s easy to believe hope is in short supply. Where do we find hope in the midst of so much uncertainty? In this sermon we are pleased to welcome back Tim Hanna to HumeRidge who will explore the real hope that comes from a new life with Jesus and the fresh eyes required to find this hope during the difficulties of life.
About Tim:
Tim currently works coaching, mentoring and consulting with leaders, churches and organisations, having recently transitioned from the role of CEO Compassion Australia, in which he served for 10 years.
Prior to that, Tim pastored three churches over 30 years in three different states of Australia, the last being Gateway Baptist Church in Brisbane. He taught at Australian College of Ministries (ACOM) and was CEO of Willow Creek Australia for 18 months. Tim has also taken up a part-time position with Churches of Christ in Queensland working in their Church and Community Engagement Team to further improve the Churches of Christ movement in Queensland.
Married to Chris, they raised 9 children and have 25 grandchildren at the latest count. Tim is a bit of a sports tragic, having played a lot of Aussie rules footy, cricket and tennis. He studied Economics at University, and later gained a Bachelor of Theology through the Melbourne College of Divinity and his Doctor of Ministry at Fuller Seminary in the US.
He has a passion for leaders, churches and organisations to flourish and make the best impact they can for the Kingdom of God.
