The central news of all of history was first delivered to lowly shepherds in the most spectacular way. Our familiarity with the account of Jesus’ birth can often lead to complacency in understanding what God was up to through the different characters of the story. In this sermon, as we continue our series “The Characters of Christmas”, Jackson Savill takes a closer look at what the shepherds can teach us about God and what we can learn from their response to the news brought by the angels.
