Welcome to this bonus episode of Bede Vs. The Living Dead. Unlike the main episodes of the show that only focus on all things related and linked to Night Of The Living Dead, these bonus ones will have your host Bede Jermyn explore other random zombie films (from both the famous to the obscure) that were made in the aftermath of George A. Romero's 1968 classic masterpiece.
Nearing 5 years ago this year, the first cases of COVID-19 starting appearing in a few areas of the world. However once the virus spread worldwide in early 2020, everyone when into lockdown and prepared for what would happen next. Later in 2020, a zombie film from South Korea was released internationally on Netlifx that would grab audiences due to, unintentionally, having similarities what was happening in our world at that time: #Alive from director Cho Il-hyung. Joining Bede to dicuss this film are returning guest Chad Zuver (director of the 2014 indie NOTLD remake A Night Of The Living Dead) and first-time guests Tamika Jones & Derek Anderson (co-hosts of DailyDead.com's podcast Corpse Club). What Bede and his guests think of this one? Listen in and find out!
