CS Lewis wisely stated, "Everyone thinks forgiveness is a lovely idea until he has to practice it." Some of Jesus' most challenging teachings revolve around forgiveness, but it's so important that he includes forgiveness in the prayer he gives us. But it's not just our needing forgiveness from God, it's about forgiving others in turn. And sometimes the hardest person to forgive is... yourself.
