As I reflect on Psalm 1, I remember a long ago visit to Zion National Park in Utah. Drawing parallels between the cottonwood trees that grow along the Virgin River and the trees the psalmist wrote about, I show how living a life devoted to loving God nourishes and refreshes is through even the hardest of times.
