We were lucky enough to grab some backstage time with Claudio Sanchez–guitarist, lyricist, author, and principal songwriter for Coheed and Cambria and The Prize Fighter Inferno–while he was in Naarm/Melbourne to headline the inaugural run of the recent Monolith Festival.
Claudio chats to us about returning Down Under, the narrative tension between his overarching Amory Wars sci-fi concept storyline and real-life events, capturing the spark of inspiration while fighting against imposter syndrome, and answering questions from an unofficial (and on-the-spot) Reddit AMA thanks to the eager fans of r/TheFence.
