The dailies are in and we’re watching Heat! For our 40th episode we're kicking off the Michael Mann run with one of his most well known films — the high octane cops and robbers thriller starring Al Pacino and Robert De Niro.

So, pour yourself a Sweet Heat and hit play — Brewvies is back!

Ingredients

• 2 ounces vodka

• 1 1/2 ounces pineapple juice

• 1/2 ounce simple syrup

• 3 slices jalapeño thinly sliced

• 2 slices ginger thinly sliced

• 1 lime wheel for garnish

Instructions

• In a cocktail shaker, muddle together the jalapeño, ginger, simple syrup.

• Add ice and vodka.

• Shake vigorously.

• Pour into a glass and garnish with a lime wheel.
