The dailies are in and we're watching The Great Race! The 1965 screwball comedy directed by our next subject, Blake Edwards wasn't a box office hit, but it is somewhat of a cult classic among the camp communities. Starring Jack Lemmon, Natalie Wood, and Tony Curtis this is a riot of a film from start to finish – which is saying something since it clocks in at an impressive 2 hours and 40 minutes. 

Which naturally Kate has something to say about. And after drinking a few Pace Cars, she's letting it fly! Pour yourself one and hit play — Brewvies is back!

The Pace Car

INGREDIENTS:

• 1½ oz. Hard Truth Indiana Rye Whiskey
• 1 oz. Orange liqueur
• ¾ oz. Fresh lemon juice 
• Orange twist, to garnish
• Sugar

CRAFT:

1. Rim coupe glass with sugar, and set aside.
2. Add rye, orange liqueur, and lemon juice to ice -filled bar shaker.
3. Cover, and shake until well chilled, then double strain into prepared coupe glass.
4. Twist orange peel overd rink, then drop into garnish, and serve
