Patricia Wallen was born and raised in eastern Kentucky in the small town of hindman . At the age of 8 years old her father started teaching Patricia how to play mandolin and “I would play and sing with him “. Patricia and her dad would sing bluegrass mostly, although “I love country as well “ . “I just recently recorded some original material and I have been playing everywhere locally here in pikeville Kentucky which is now where I reside”.
Im a mandolin picker since the age of 8. I grew up listening to and playing bluegrass so it’s my fav.. but I love all kinds of music
