Is Forcing People to Wear Masks Constitutional?

“You have no Constitutional right to endanger the public & spread the disease.. You have no right not to be vaccinated... if you refuse to be vaccinated the State has the power to literally take you to a doctor's office and plunge a needle into your arm."
What are the pros of wearing masks?
- Protect other people - Masks offer a unique solution that can help prevent germs from further spreading.
- Allows restrictions to be eased while also still slowing the spread of COVID-19
What are the cons of forcing Americans to wear masks?
- Inconvenient
- Oppressive Government - This should be considered a critical growth in the government
- How many people does the flu kill - does that require masks?
- “We the people”- forcing people to wear masks invests power in the government, not the people, which is what the constitution was trying to prevent.
A one size fits all solution to a more complicated issue?
- Exercise: Wearing masks can make it hard to get the exercise that many Americans rely on or have made a daily part of there lives. Some runners have even seriously injured themselves while wearing a mask and running
- Do these rules apply to someone if they aren't near anyone else?
- Will children be held to the same standards as adults?
- The coronavirus is new as of 2020, and many people still aren't used to these harsh new standards. If they forget, can they still get arrested?
- Will dine in restaurants be forced to close if they don't adapt immediately to these new restrictions?
