Description

Josh Miller talks about the difficulty of growing up in purity culture, going through abuse from the church, and attending a spiritually toxic college. Josh takes the truly difficult parts of his story and shares how he has flipped the script to use his pain as fuel in helping others heal. From small town closeted queer boy, heavily involved in church, attending conversion therapy where he was told he was an abomination, to now mental health professional helping churches learn about how to support those who are different than them.  Josh is an incredible example of the resiliency of the human spirit and how our pain becomes our greatest gift.
