Definition of minor shirk: What has been mentioned in the texts of the Quran and Sunnah as being shirk, but does not reach the degree of major shirk.
Examples of minor include: Showing off in some acts of worship, swearing by other than Allah, uttering the statement: 'What Allah wills and what you also will'.
