The first category: The Khawarij and those who follow their way.
- They go to extremes by declaring Muslims disbelievers for committing major sins.
- The Prophet ﷺ described them as people who kill Muslims but leave idol-worshippers.
- Historically, the Khawārij have never fought disbelievers, only Muslims.
- Their error comes from ignorance and misuse of the evidence.
- They are not just a past group; their ideology appears in every age.
- Muslims are warned to stay away from them, protect their children from their ideas, and instead study authentic books of Aqeedah written by reliable scholars.
