In this episode, Pastor Rhonda and Pastor Seth discuss the lectionary passages. This weeks passage are near and dear to the heart of epiphany and the role of the follower of Jesus within epiphany. In 3 of the text, we see how we are to approach the Holy God we serve, and what our Holy God calls us too. It is so easy to get complacent and comfortable in our walk, but the call of God should push us and challenge us to be bold and fish for people, declaring and sharing the good news and all it entails for Jesus followers. We are to carry the message of the cross, even if others will not listen and move from their positions. We are called to stand up against power and the abuse of power that brings people down, but lifts up others. The call is there for us all, what will be our response.
