In this episode, Pastor Rhonda and Pastor Seth discuss the lectionary passages for this week. There seems to be a theme through the text of "love for enemies" and those who have done us wrong. This is one of the hardest realities of living the Gospel of Jesus Christ in our day and age. Everything within us wants revenge, for someone to feel what we have felt, but the way of the cross and kingdom is different. It should lead us to a different place. But, this does not mean that we are simply door mats. We have been giving a beautiful thing, creativity and imagination, and God'd desire is that you those in ways to expose evil and misuse of power in a way that neutralizes its abuse. Once again, this is not easy and goes so much deeper than our words. We must live it through our actions. We can trust God though, and know that he is with us through the hard times in life.
