Heyooo! Welcome to the third episode of The Bone Garden! This week we're tackling our first haunted location: The Sloss Furnaces in Birmingham Alabama! The Sloss Furnaces was an iron-producing blast furnace facility in Birmingham Alabama that operated from 1882 to 1971. Nowadays, The Sloss Furnaces stands as a national historic landmark, serving as a museum and event venue for things like weddings, birthday parties, and business events. But the Furnaces are more than a place to celebrate Little Timmy’s birthday: it’s a place with a bone-chilling history that stretches back more than a century. From abusive supervisors to tragic accidents, to a night watchman that was attacked by “a half man, half demon”, the Furnaces were Hell on earth. And we’re going to dance in the flames together. So turn on your nightlight and strap in, because here we go!
