Johnson had the opportunity to provide LinkedIn profile reviews for top CEOs, utilizing a technique to obtain their personal telephone numbers. Dissatisfied with the company's direction, she shifted her focus to small businesses, successfully booking numerous profile reviews. Johnson attributed this success to people's interest in self-improvement and performance insights. She engaged with 20 individuals weekly, discussing their LinkedIn profiles.
While working for a company assisting people with LinkedIn profiles, Johnson noticed many clients did not follow her advice. Consequently, she left her job and started offering profile-writing services. Her business quickly grew, and she realized the importance of a strong call to action and motivational elements to encourage clients to connect over the phone. Johnson began offering tailored packages and hourly services to meet individual needs.
After helping a client with their profile, Johnson discovered the client lacked ownership of it. To address this, she introduced a coaching program and business-building techniques, assisting clients in achieving a return on investment. Recognizing that one day of social selling training was insufficient, she divided the training into two sessions with a three-week interval, allowing for implementation. Ultimately, Johnson realized her role went beyond education, as she facilitated transformation and empowered clients in the process.
