Joseph Chapman is a palliative care chaplain and ordained Presbyterian (USA) minister. He studied English, philosophy, and creative writing at the University of North Carolina and received a Master of Fine Arts in poetry from the University of Virginia. Before seeking a call in ministry, he taught poetry and composition at the University of Virginia and the University of Michigan. His published work can be found in Best American Poetry, Boston Review, and Poets on Growth.
