Is it just us or is our collective sensitivity threshold at an all-time low?
Words themselves are being censored on college campuses. Logically, anything that's said has the potential to be 'harmful' to someone somewhere. It is not possible to account for all these sensitivities with laws or DEI lectures.
We are not here to debate whether words wound. What we do know is that we can't control what other people say. Try as we might.
In this episode we take aim at the prevailing belief that words are weapons. This is a belief, not a truth, and it is a sinker for all involved - individually and collectively. And while we can't change other people, we can change what we believe. Thank God for that.
We suggest a radical approach. Remember the belief that sticks and stones will break our bones but words will never hurt us? We do! Tune in for a much needed refresher course on how to access an upgraded perspective that gives you back your power - no matter what anyone else has to say about it.
