Sanskrit, known as the most ancient language & the language of the gods, is the foundation of many Vedas, Upanishads, & Vedangas. Despite its historical significance, it is not widely used today. Homemaker Sunita Phadnis from Porvorim is actively working to preserve & promote Sanskrit. Through Sanskrit Bharati Sanstha, she offers free Sanskrit conversation classes. In honor of World Sanskrit Day on August 19th, we spoke with Sunita about her journey.
