In today’s episode, I interview Matt de Rogatis who recently played in the off Broadway show “Cat on a Hot Tin Roof” during the summer of 2022 in New York City. He shares with us his proven strategy that got him into the best shape of his life as he prepared himself for the physically demanding lead role of “Brick” in the show.
Matt de Rogatis has been the Chairman & Creative Director of Ruth Stage since 2019. Beginning in 2014, with the guidance of his mentor and then chairman, the late Bob Lamb, Matt took the group, founded in 1982, from small town community theater to a New York City powerhouse entertainment organization. During this time, de Rogatis has become an entrepreneur, taking an "all in," hands on approach. By not conforming to traditional methods, he has quickly built the company into one of the premiere arts organizations in New York City.
de Rogatis' rebellious, edgy and unique vision for the company transcends theater, expands with each day and redefines the term, "the hardest working man in show business."
