Linda is the Founder and President of Break Free Together, a not-for-profit organization that uses story exchange to break silence and shame stemming from purity culture. The organization was born out of Linda’s 15 years of research on gender and sexuality among girls raised in conservative evangelical churches documented in her award-winning book, Pure: Inside the Evangelical Movement that Shamed a Generation of Young Women and How I Broke Free.
