They are passionate about advocating for spirutual agency and freedom. They are deconstructed evangelicals. Derek has a biblical studies background & rachel is pursuing a masters in religious studies. Your Favorite heretics was born out of a desire to bring clear, easy to understand deconstruction perspectives to those who are interested to learn about it. They desire to give words to experiences and help sort through church trauma.
