“Curiosity killed the cat, but .........” —I’m willing to bet you don’t know the end of this quote? In today’s episode the host Jason B. Godoy shares with you about how growing up his mom would always stifle his curiosity and tell him he asked too many questions by saying curiosity killed the cat. This effected Jason to the point where as an adult he struggled feeling ok just asking simple questions to gain clarity I new environments and to Understand people. Once Jason overcame this fear then he started asking the wrong questions and sometimes he would be left with answers that he didn’t want to hear that would leave him feeling uncomfortable. Once again “curiosity killed the cat” because after this Jason was didn’t want to ask any questions for fear of hearing a shocking answer. It wasn’t until Jason learned the 2nd half of the quote “satisfaction brings it back” that he began digging deeper and getting more curious about people and life. Doing so helped him to flex his creativity muscle, develop more empathy and create deeper connections. Tune into this episode where Jason shares with you the exercise he likes to call “curios George” that he used to connect with strangers, develop empathy and build stronger connections.
