The NSW government says it’s comfortable the number of coronavirus cases reported yesterday ahead of the release of official figure this morning. A cluster associated with Woolworth and BWS at Berala in Sydney’s west is growing to 15 cases. Yesterday, two cases were confirmed which will be included today’s figures to be released on 11 O’clock Australian Eastern Time. Acting premiere John Barilaro says additional cases have been identified in 24 hours from the 8 O’clock last night.

The remnant of cyclone Imogen have brought more heavy rain to parts of Northern QLD with the region on flood watch. Police Commissioner Katarina Carroll says there were no reports of injuries, although about 1,400 houses were left without power.
