Almost live, always local and louder than ever, this is the Hometown Headlines Podcast for Monday, June 3. A few things have changed since we last talked and we’ll get to that in today’s podcast.

We’re experimenting with the right format for this daily podcast so please send any and all feedback (text 706-346-2031 or email or leave a comment below on our Facebook page). We promise to have a better process in place – at least before the 411 Connector gets built.

• Plus a rant on why we’ve upgraded to podcasts from radio (was it something we said?)

Our plan is to post a news-and-views podcast most weekday mornings. We’re in meetings all week to secure production assistance on longer-form podcasts that you’ve asked to hear. We’re also upgrading our recording equipment from “Studio 1A” today and Tuesday so expect an even crisper podcast by Wednesday.
