In this episode of Public Servants' Announcements, for the second week in a row, we talk to a former student of mine. But that's not what we talk about. He is also a real estate investor, and we talk a ton about how he got into that. We start with him starting to use social media to focus on what he wanted to do moving forward. That is when the seminar “Multi-Family Mindset” came across his feed, and he decided it would either be a 2 hour waste of time or he would learn, and that was the start of his journey, because it completely changed his mindset. He then gets into how he made his first investment and how he is now getting his license to operate on both sides of the market. Austin then gets into the importance of networking and how making connections is the most important part of his collegiate journey. When talking about his summer internship, he talks about how he recognized the importance to assimilate to look, talk, and act more like the people he wanted to work with. Then we get into how important it is to be able to provide value to others. Man, Austin is such a sponge! He is soaking up all the knowledge he can right now. He is reaching out to people and really trying to place himself in the right rooms, around the right people, with the right knowledge to enhance and build for the future.
