Description

In this episode of Public Servants' Announcements, we talk to cheer coach, and my "cousin" Chamayne Dangerfield. We talk about how she got into, fell out of, and then got back into cheer again. We talk about the cheer uniforms, and she gives us a history lesson on how cheer even got started. We delve into the importance of male coaches and role models in all sports, including cheer, and the impact that can have on children. Then we get personal. She talks about her shifting and growing relationship with God, which was reignited by meeting two people, through cheer, that she confided in, and allowed them to pour into her. By the end, Chamayne gives us a Public Servants' Announcement that shakes me up and moves my spirit. Give it a listen, and be touched.
