In this episode of Public Servants' Announcements, we talk to Jake Ysasi about poetry, boxing, and real estate. We start the podcast with Jake explaining what it was like to be in my class as a student. He then gets in to how he started writing poetry and why he does it. He then gets into how, even though he is an undefeated boxer, he really is a lover and not a fighter. He talks about the nerves and how he has a love/hate relationship with boxing. He even gets into how his dad/trainer denied him several times, because of the strain boxing takes on your entire life. We then talk about what his time in real estate has been like, and while it hasn’t been all bad, it hasn’t been all good either. Give it a listen to hear about this incredibly interesting young man.
