Nick Robinson started the Homeschool Helper YouTube channel back in 2021 with a simple mission: to make homeschooling easier, more fun and a better experience for everyone. Nick knew he wanted to help young people however he could when he was 13 and had a powerful experience on a mission trip to Romania. He graduated with a BA in English and a passion for teaching literature and writing to private Christian school students. After two years of that, Nick got married to his lovely wife, Rachel and they both went to work for Sky Ranch Summer Camps out in East Texas –Nick as an outdoor education teacher and Rachel as the store manager. Four years and one daughter later, Nick and Rachel took a big swing and moved to Houston where Nick took a job as a youth pastor. That was 2010 and now they have three lovely kids and have been homeschooling ever since their oldest started first grade. It hasn’t always been easy, and there have been moments where they almost threw in the towel, but they are part of a loving, nurturing community with Classical Conversations and are planning to go all the way through. Nick remains a youth pastor, and hopes to continue doing so until they won’t let him anymore. Nick is passionate about classical homeschool education, and wants to continue to provide helpful resources for as many homeschool families as will listen to him!
