Description

It's a Feel Good Friday and we have a huge show. We spend Fridays with AI. Today we took a deep dive into what John Chaney would think about the current state of college hoops. We also continue our discussion of Walter French with Lenny Wagner and gear up for the Phillies/Dodgers series.

Today's Question of the Day is "How many games this week do you need the Phillies to win?"

In our discussion with Lenny Wagner, we take a turn and start looking at Walter French's pro football career.

On this day in 2003 the Phillies lost to the Pirates 9-1 in the final home opener at The Vet. The teams wore 1971 throwbacks, Jim Bunning threw out the first pitch and the team honored the 1971 team.

Meet Lenny Wagner, the author of “Playing with the Best: One Man’s Journey through the Golden Age of Sports.  The book chronicles the amazing life of Walter French who won both an World Series and NFL Championship.
