Let's take it back to 79. This day in 1979 the Eagles beat the Oilers 26-20 at the Astrodome to clinch a wild card spot. Wilbert Montgomery broke his own Eagles single season rushing record of 1,220 yards, finishing with 1,512 yards (which later would be broken by Lesean McCoy). The Eagles would be the Bears in the Wild Card round before losing the Buccaneers in the Divisional Round.
