On this day in 1958 the NFL held rounds 5-30 of the draft. The Eagles selected an offensive lineman out of Cal Poly in the 21st. While this player would never play a down in the NFL, he did go on to become a Hall of Fame coach and broadcaster. He also is the namesake for one of the most iconic video game franchises ever.
