On this day in 1989 the Phillies beat the Pirates 15-11 after falling behind 10-0 in the top of the first. Pirates radio announcer Jim Rooker said he'd walk home if the Pirates lost. They did and he made the trek from the Vet to Pittsburgh that offseason.
