On this day in 1981 St. Joe's pulled off the biggest upset in Big 5 history when they beat #1 DePaul 49-48 in the 2nd round of the NCAA tournament. The win propelled the Hawks to the Elite Eight where they'd lose to eventual champ Indiana.
