On this day in 1986 Temple lost to BC 38-29. Heisman trophy candidate, Paul Palmer ran for 212 yards and 2 TDs setting an NCAA record for rushing yards over a 4-game span. He also threw for a TD. He'd go on to finish 2nd in the Heisman.
