Description

An active, fun-loving young man, Charles Brice's life changed forever in June 2010 when he became a quadriplegic in a motorbike accident. Here he talks to Mandy about what happened, how the accident changed his life, and what he's done since to keep moving forward. This interview was recorded in mid-2019, in the lead-up to Charles being the driving force behind a group bike ride which aimed to raise $100,000 for spinal cord research. In October 2019, Charles, pushing a handcycle, was joined by more than 20 other riders on a ride from the scene of his accident in the Riverland, to Adelaide - a distance of 300km. Their efforts raised an amazing $140,000.
