Description

Charles Brice was our first podcast guest in an episode recorded last year, a few months before he and a group of supporters tackled a huge ride to raise money for spinal cord research. In October 2019, Charles, who became a quadriplegic in a motorbike accident in 2010, pushed a handcycle while his fellow participants rode bikes on a 300km route which traced the path from his accident in the Riverland, to Adelaide. In part 2 of his story here, Charles tells Mandy about how he coped with the physical demands of the ride, and how it's led to him taking on other physical challenges in the months since.
