Stress is a silent killer, as cortisol can be addictive, leads to conditions like cardiovascular disease, cancer etc...Trust me, I know how addictive it is.
And when we have a release of it, it blocks as much as 50% of our creative thinking brain, we end up seeking glucose and over eat, resulting in weight gain and dis-ease during long periods of stress.
Consider that tools to self regulate (exercise, medition, etc) is the First step, but we cannot simply run away from our stress. We can’t medicate away from the tiger that is chasing us...we need to become
✅aware that shit is stressing us
✅breathe and self regulate to control the other 50% of our brain
✅ then we need to fucking deal with the stress head on by reframing it, realigning it and re-acting not with our emotional brain rather our creative, productive, constructive brain
