Given the current worldwide climate we find ourselves in, this week's episode couldn't come at a better time! For all you running and fitness enthusiasts – this episode is for you! It was so exciting to finally sit down one-on-one with Emily and Hannah, health and fitness influencers and ladies behind my favourite run club We Are Runners. I have them to thank for getting through my gruesome training runs for my London Marathon debut last year!
We talk all things nutrition, life balance, extreme ultra marathons through deserts and – of course – our love of food!
We delve into Hannah’s experience running 250km through the Jordanian desert last year (gulp!) as well as their love of ultra marathons and why and how they tackle them. We debate the social media culture we live in now and how it plays a huge part in our fitness and wellbeing mentalities. And I finally open up about my marathon experience last year and the emotions that came with the experience.
