What a joy it was to sit down with Rebecca Ferguson! We hadn’t met before this, but by the end it felt like we’d been friends for ages! We delved into her upbringing in Liverpool, the beginnings of her music career and the experience she had on the X Factor. I also find out her signature dishes she’s been whipping up during CO-VID - including homemade strawberry jam!!
Rebecca was very open in discussing her experience on The X Factor, the fame she was catapulted into overnight, and explains that nothing is what it always seems. She is now back with new music, collaborating with the main man Nile Rodgers! I feel like she’s got her mojo back and she’s back bigger and better than ever!
We also tackled some very poignant topics in regards to the pressures you are under, to look a certain way when in the limelight. Her frankness and honesty was appreciated.
