Zoe Willis

I have been working in media and communications for over 20 years.

I started work at ITV, where I harboured dreams of becoming a TV presenter. Then the reality of fame (gulp!) and the draw of creativity soon had me setting down roots in the sales and production world and running ITV’s rapidly expanding sponsorship department. It was there I learned about the production of network shows, sponsorship, the ad funded model, licensing, media sales and devising new and creative revenue streams. Oh, and how to communicate with people at all levels in many disciplines. I owe ITV a lot. It was a brilliant time..

After a couple of years at BBC Worldwide then Disney, I took the combined years of TV and digital experience into the wonderful world of fashion: NET-A-PORTER, Condé Nast and Hearst saw me in charge of driving revenues and creativity across some of the most recognisable lifestyle brands in the world, and being at the vanguard of emerging developments in media and consumer trends. Later as EVP of Marketing at a tech start-up, I used all of that experience and learned a hell of a lot more, devising global marketing strategies, launching an app to the world and about all the tech involved in between!
