I stayed a night in Rogers Pass, at Illecillewaet Campground - which is just a few minutes away from Loop Brook Trail Campground (which happens to be closed this season).

This campground is awesome! Highly recommend it. It has a great series of trails right off the campground itself, including a 5 minute walk-around of the ruins of what used to be 'Glacier House'.

Glacier House was a hotel from back in 1894, that was heavily advertised by CN Rail tourism.

This area always has a bit of a creepy vibe to it - between the ruins and the frequent visits from Grizzly Bears. We had a neighbour growing up who used to work out in the area, and he confirmed there was a lot of strange things that would happen out there. There were a lot of deaths in that area during the completion of the railway - perhaps there are some spirits that have not yet left the area.
