What do we mean by God's "name"? What IS God's name? What does it mean for a name to be holy? And what does any of this have to do with us and how we live?
To explore these questions, we go back to the first story in scripture where a human gives God a name as well as the revolutionary story where God first tells humans God's own name (prepare to be surprised both times!). Through these stories, we begin to uncover the world-altering meaning behind these simple words--"May your name be recognized as holy"--and what it means for us to pray them.
