Hello and welcome back to my podcast where I come out of my "whale mode" and present myself to you all. Last week, I touched on this idea, well reality, of the persona. Getting back into socializing, as well as starting a podcast and a Youtube (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCF3K7yrrf3-f8Z73T7QEeRw) I'm thinking a lot about how I want to show up on those platforms, how much or how little I want to share, what parts I want to give you all access to, as well as, how I used to portray myself, however "genuine" or "fake". And I'm coming to understand that no matter how I portray myself anywhere, in real life or online, someone from my past, present, and/or future might say that I am acting fake because who the parts I'm giving you all access to are not the same parts I give them access to. I've understood for a while that different people and situations bring out different parts of us and this week, I'm diving into that.
So, go for a drive, fold your laundry, wash your dishes, lay down cause this is a long one.
