In today's episode, Yago and I touch on his journey into acting, his success, and his decision to become a father and family man.
Yago Lupi is a mercurial actor, loving father, and committed husband. He grew up in Venezuela and moved to the US in 2001 just a few days after 9/11. Growing up, he was always the class clown and got into trouble. Yago developed a passion for art through his grandfather, a prolific actor, and playwright in Venezuela who taught Yago about Shakespeare before passing away. Music became an outlet for him when he was young and he took to rap and even created a mixtape in high school.
After high school, he began looking for acting opportunities through Google and shortly started working through an extras agency where he got paid $100 for 12 hours of work as an extra. Falling in love with being on set, Yago met people who would tell him about the best teachers in town and started to take classes, got headshots, an agent, and the rest is history.
